Welcome! My name is Katrina, I am the creator of Hearth & Stone Design. I am obsessed with creating spacing that bring out what no one expected. I love being unique and I like to incorporate that in all of my designs. I believe function and form are equal partners in all spaces.
I have a bachelors in Architecture from University of Hartford. After graduating I began working as an architectural drafter for the retail brand Brooks Brothers. Then working for a custom millshop as a millwork engineer. There, I engineered drawings for custom high end retail, residential and hospitality pieces for clients including Google, Coach, LL Bean, Facebook and Tiffany's.
At the same time my husband and I opened a tattoo shop where I got to design and manage the entire renovation project. Enters my obsession with doing private interior design work!
By the end of 2021 I was able to quit my office job to start my true passion, Heart & Stone Design!
